How long could a guys beard be, w/o the guy looking stupid?

It depends on the condition of the beard. If it looks like pubes, get rid of it. If its getting all scragally on the end, you should trim it. Wash it when you wash your hair in the shower, comb it and what not. YOu have to realize that you have to take care of it like you do with your hair.

most girls i know dont realli like guys with beards.. hmm, personally i would prefer my guy NOT to sport a beard or a mush...

Should not hang below the face.Needs to be kept trimmed and neat.Otherwise,it's just plain scary and gross.

One week's worth of growth- scruffy is cute...permanent is just not attractive to me at all.
