I'll be starting my business within the next few months, and I'm looking for a creative name. I don't want to name it after myself, and I'd like it to be a simple, identifiable, and easy to remember name. Any suggestions?

I want to change photos to make them look different, like on paintshop pro you can do artistic effects and stuff... anybody know anythin different?!
And also in the aly & aj video potential break up song, there is a part where it has there faces with pink white and yellow, it was a cool effect and i was wondering how you would do that without painting over without opaqueness, because it looses the photo quality!

I want to post my pictures where people can and will look free of charge. I don't want to put them in with a lot of gross pornography or stupid pictures made by drunken amateurs. I could do a private show, but nobody would know it was there. How can I show my pictures where people will look?

Okay, so I have a homework assignment I'm doing for my photography class. I have no idea what I'm doing. Here's the questions:

1) Find a light thing, a dark thing, and a grey thing.
2) Meter off the grey thing.
3) Make an exposure
4) Over expose 1/2 a stop
5) Over expose 1 stop
6) Under expose 1/2 stop
7) Under expose 1 stop

I'm sooo confused. Help me!

i've loved photoraphy since i was a little kid. when i was 5, i stole my aunt's camera and shot objects and used up the whole roll of film. now in high school as a senior, im taking photography classes and i want to know what i can do to become a professional photographer. what college courses i should take when in college, if i should go to photography school or not-- if so, what school, and what are my chances of being a pro, etc.

if i couldnt make it into the photography industry as a pro, i would at least become a photojournalist. i love traveling, writing, and taking pictures. what are my chances of making a good living out of this? what are my chances of being hired by a big magazine such as TIMES? how much do photojournalists make?

i heard that most photographers arent recognized until they have a pretty big portfolio, and by then they're in their 40s-50s already. is this really true?? =/

have positive and encouraging answers, please!!

You know those funny photos you get emailed from your friends, usually people doing something odd or strange. Can I compile those in a book? I am assuming that there are some sort of copyright or license infringement. How do you find out where it originated? And how do websites get away publishing these photos?

Hello there. This is for all the Professional Wedding Photographers out there. How do you offer proofs to the couple? I personally was going a book of 4x6 prints, but I'm not feelin this. I saw the new Proof DVD coming out, but its $30.00 our cost. Any suggestions? if you make a proof, how do you do it. Whats the best way in photoshop to copyright your photos? How tacky is it to make proof sheets in photoshop and present it to your couple that way? I see a couple people doing this. I want it to look professional
