I have noticed that outdated film is a lot cheaper. I found a bulk load of 100 ISO Fujifilm for $10, but it is outdated. It has been kept cold, so would I experience any problems with it? Would it warp colors or anything? Also, are there certain brands that do better when kept cold but are outdated?

I'm trying to create save the date invitations for my beach wedding and would like to have the date (3-14-07) written in the sand on a pretty beach. Unfortunately, living in Houston, TX, the beaches surrounding me are kind of gross. Does anyone know if there is a way to alter another digital picture to make it look like the date is written in the sand?

Wedding Photographers are treated like crap. Bartenders get the red carpet treatment. Why? http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A9gnMiDKv7tE8GIA.gGjzbkF;_ylu=X3oDMTBsNXZtZnJjBHNlYwNwcm9mBHZ0aWQDSTk5OV83Mw--/SIG=12rbtl1au/EXP=1153241418/**http%3a//www.workshop.org/pages/photography/images/zucker_lady_in_red.jpg

If I use it for artistic purposes (exhibitions, contests, etc), or as documentary work, do I need a release? In what cases do you need them?

I currently model. I have done dozens of shoots and was wondering what sort of photography you like the best. I want to know because I want to know what people look for in pictures. I know what I like and other people should know too. Thanks. ♥

In black-and-white films in the forties and fifties, whenever there's a closeup shot of an actress, the edges are blurred ever so slightly, which creates sort of a glowing, almost dreamlike look. I'm guessing they do something different with the lighting as well. What is this technique called? Or does it even have a name?

And I'm sorry, but I can't seem to find any examples right now. If I find some, I'll add them in later.

The middle of June, my car was totaled in a wreck. Still a little sore but healing fine.

Some insurance companies don't consider photography an art form, and are seem to run & hide when asked to insure cameras, et al.
My two Nikons were "lost" and upon approaching the insurance agent about them, they became "dumb" saying I was the only thing inside the car. Yesterday, the salvage yard called, and asked me to reclaim my personal property before they dismantled the car. Asking about the cameras, they said there's only personal property in the console. I know that, and cameras can't fit in there.

The whole point is the insurance company ripped me, and nobody seems to know anything about cameras, and the bag, in a wrecked car. So now, I've got to buy another car, and cameras. I've got a car spotted, but need help from others to help me replace my equipment. I'm 59, and this is the first time I've ever asked anyone for help, like this. I'm a member of IFPO, too-without cameras!!

One can do a great deal now on the computer with images from a low cost camera. Example by stitching 9 shots together from a basic 1.3 M pixel camera the photo turns out as almost 12 M pixel!

An expensive camera is heavey and costs a lot to repair. A cheap camera is less likely to be slolen and you would not be that bothered is you dropped it in the sea. I did a great panorama by pushing my camera up the chimly like a sweeps brush and takiung photos from my roof. I would not have done that if the camera cost 100's of pounds
