that gun is so freakishly powerful...wowzers! ( i ahve no idea what that wepon is to be honest, i just wanted to sound smart, but i ended up sounding like such a dork, lol)

It was lighter than the M1, but was less accurate. Guess officers and tank crew liked it because it was easier to handle in cramped quarters. We had a few in Nam, but it was hard to get ammo for and the M16 was much better if you kept it clean.
I started with the M14 and then had the M16 reissued and it was really a joy, light, no kick, much lighter ammo.
