I'm trying to create save the date invitations for my beach wedding and would like to have the date (3-14-07) written in the sand on a pretty beach. Unfortunately, living in Houston, TX, the beaches surrounding me are kind of gross. Does anyone know if there is a way to alter another digital picture to make it look like the date is written in the sand?

I'm from College Station, so I agree with you the Gulf has some pretty dirty beaches. go to www.sxc.hu to get pictures. It is a free stock photography site, so the pictures are also very big. Most of the pictures do not have any use restrictions as well. You can use Fireworks or Photoshop to put the date in the sand. Both can be downloaded for 30 day trials from www.adobe.com. Hope that helps

The beaches in Florida are beautiful...maybe someone on here will take the picture for you.

If the Jersey shore was nicer I would help you out

make a small scale model of a beach, and write it yourself. The proximity of the camera will give the illusion of grandeur.
