I am taking senior pictures soon. I am sure that the photographer I am going with will have some ideas, but I want some fun place ideas. Don't worry if they won't work here, I can expound on them. I just need some fun out doors picture ideas! Ideas can be in town or out in the mountains. I'd love any and all ideas!

P.S. It's winter here. Lot's of snow on the ground.

They are standard sizes for 35mm film. If you are to have a 4"x6" print enlarged, the next option is 8"x12", followed by 16"x24"...

I went to Aaron Brothers here in Los Angeles and found only one style of 8"x12" frame and no 16"x24" - seems really bizarre to me, especially since I live in a big city. Doesn't anyone have 35mm shots enlarged?!?

I realize standard professional film sizes are 5"x7", 8'x10", etc - but you'd think standard 35mm would be much more available...

Am I missing something?

I am looking for models for my photography shoots in seaford NY but don't know where to get them. I do artistic photo shoots, so i need models capable of showing emotion/act a little. I don't have a lot of money and am looking to trade a set of head shots for the modeling time. Where can i look or post to get something like that or get contacted from interested models?

I love photography.
I have a deviantART account, but it doesnt seem to get noticed there.
Would I be able to make prints, frame them, and sell at say a street festival or to a store or something of the sort?

I want to take up amateur photography seriously. I live in NYC and i find inspiration around me everyday! But I have an otherwise full time job that will not allow me to take proper courses at least for the next few years...and i cant wait that long! What camera should a beginner like me invest in (the cheaper the better, nothing too fancy), and what software is a good and easy one to work with? Also are there any online tutorials on using light, photography techniques etc, that might be useful? any tips would be appreciated!! Thanks!

Hi, Im studying photography at university at the moment and I have been given my project brief which i'm having some trouble with. I need to take a set of three photos that depict 'time passing' but we cannot use cliched ideas and concepts such as a photo of a watch, clock, food being eaten(and other things that typically come to mind when you think of showing time passing by). Any ideas? We have been told to 'think outside the frame' and come up with original ideas, so dont hesitate to put any strange or different ideas down, many many many thanks, Hannah x

Does the DPI have any affect on the size of a saved JPEG?

Example: If I have a JPEG file that is 800x600 and 72 DPI will it take less storage space than an 800x600 300 DPI image?

My cousin is getting married in August, and I am her maid of honor. However I've somehow become her wedding planner of sorts, and I'm trying to help her save money. They really don't have any money to spare, but are insisting on having a formal wedding anyway. I've managed to help her with ceremony and reception sites, but I'm stumped on photographers!

Any ideas?

I am not looking for FREE.

I'm looking for someone who has talent and is responsible enough to handle a job like this but doesn't want to charge out the wazoo.

*also, if there are any photographers in the Lansing, Mi area who would be interested, feel free to let me know!*
