l think you are referring to scrap booking. There are plenty of scarp booking materials in bookstores. All you need is a bit of artistry and imagination to pursue this hobby.
l get ideas from magazines. l take note how the colors are combined and how the borders are shaped. l often recycle since l have art papers and glossy magazines left in a corner.
You can 'google' scrapbook for more info. There are plenty to choose from.
