hey what is the B shutter speed?

whenever i am wanting to take a photo that doesn't have enough light, i go for the B shutter speed, yet my negative always turns out over-exposed ("black" negative, therefore a "white" photo)

how do i avoid this? my camera only goes up to 2 seconds, and i feel the B shutter is my only option for low-level light photography

hi all, i'm searching for a second hand camera film, but i want it to have full features but low cost at the same time
i prefer the price for the camera is not more than $130 body and the lens...

did anyone has a recomendation of what i should buy?
my friend offers me his Pentax MZ-50 with 35-80mm for $125, is it good enough since i'm new in this film camera thing..

On digital cameras you now look on the back to see the whole pitcher. So then why do they still have the little peek hole at the top of the camera? Its not like you can put film in it and use the peek hole. So why?

I recently bought a sony h2 digital camera. I dont have much experience with lenses, nor did i have much money left, so i decided to get the generic brand of lenses for this camera. I put on the lens and set it to the right mode, but the picture picture comes out blurry. For example, I put on the telephoto lens and set the camera to the telephoto mode, and then as i look through the camera to take a picture, I notice the center view was ok but the outer portion of the view had a big blur. For those who have more experience with messing with lens, is this what a GENERIC BRAND of telephoto lens does, or is this what all telephoto lenses do?

Ok I am in need of some help here. I work for a photographer. A client need sproduct photos of organic bedding. What ides for the setting can we use? He wants to show that the linens are organic wool. Something on location or even set up in a studio to look on location. any ideas??

why do a lot of well known artists use slide photography? is there a benifit to using this method or do they do it because it is required in some aspects of the art world in some way? and is the digital camera working to phase slides out?
