It's difficult to give you specific advice without knowing some details about your camera and how you are using it.

Some general ideas are:

. Make sure there is good lighting on your subject.

. Use Automatic mode to begin with.

. Make sure your camera battery is fully charged.

. Hold your camera very still while taking the pic. Push the shutter button slowly, not with a jerk.

. Use the technique of

Framing the pic,

Push the shutter button 1/2 way down and wait for it to focus,

Then push the button all the way down to take the pic.

If you mean "fuzzy" the camera was moved as the picture was taken.
If you mean too dark or light with the detail "burned out" the
f stop is too large (the lens opening is too large.
