I'm a keen amateur photographer and I personally feel my material is of a marketable quality, but don't know how to go about it.
What's the best way to start earning a few extra bob from my photography?

I have found 7 levels of exposure understanding:
1. Full auto, using either auto exposure or match-needle with older film cameras.
2. Auto exposure, knows to use auto-exposure lock and reframe for scenes such as sunsets.
3. Uses exposure compensation for non-average scenes such as snow. Sets exposure using a gray card (or their hand) or a handheld ambient meter. Believes in 'perfect exposure'
4. Spot meter readings of important tones. Incident meter with compensation. This is the start of creative exposure expression.
5. Uses the Zone System shadow placement technique.
6. Uses the Zone System for shadow placement and development for contrast range expansion or compression, or actually understands digital HDR. Full creative expression
7. Understands the physics and math of exposure theory.

1-3 is a beginner, 4-5 is intermediate, 6-7 is advanced or expert.

Photogs must SHOW they are in 5 or 6 before I will accept them into advanced workshops.

Most of mine are beginner workshops...

I uploaded photos off my camera, and all the photos look normal in the folder as thumbnails, they are clear...but when i enlarge them portions of the pictures are cut? Why is this happening? Some pictures are okay, some aren't!

I am looking at a really nice camera that doesn't have a RAW feature. But I've read from a couple of professional photographers that it's really not that important as far as controlling an image when you use software.

Jeez, this is ridiculous. Someone asked a question in another section about the camera used on a TV show called "Side Order of Life." Okay, at over 66,000 points, I don't care about 2 frickin' points, but the "Best Answer" so far says that the camera is a Nikon DSLR of some kind and it "might be a Nikon D2Xs."

All I'm sayin' is that the star of the show spends half of her time in the darkroom and her camera has a huge honkin' meter on the top with a large letter "F" on it. There is another answer that identifies the camera as a Nikon F Photomic. If you care about truth on Yahoo! and not leading an innocent asker down the wrong path, please go to http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070803221115AALkOO5&r=w&pa=AptqD2bwHTHf5ueBYaQxtv61wColovACn28uzjKOOFEwqgOURLMARx.RT.H4KL2XyasQR5LHR6QQAA--&paid=voted and vote for the answer that names a camera that would produce images on film, thus explaining all the time spent in the darkroom.

Not to mention... it's the correct answer.

I've bought a diffuser for a Nikon SB600 flash. (I didn't spend much, but I'd like to see if there is an all-around comparable flash unit that is cheaper but just as good as it.) Thanks!

Well I'm getting into the Photography and I'm not too much into spending thousands of dollars for a camera but im talking about a good slr digital camera. I also like Film Camera's But I dislike going to the store and putting them on a CD. I don't think I like that much. So will anyone show me some good camera's for photography because I've been doing photography for awhile just not with my camera. I want a camera for my own where I can take to places and snapshot interesting things I can get in Art Gallery's for. Please bring up Camera brands and links would be very much appreciated. Thank you?

A friend of mine had her pictures taken for her wedding portrait by a friend and downloaded them to a website where they created a portrait for her. It was a lot cheaper than going to a phographer. She can't remember the site. Does anyone know of anything like this or where I can look?

so a zoom lens not a prime, lets say a 70-200mm, at what focal lenght will the lens be sharpest?

70mm / 200mm or 135mm?

if you know give a reason, if you dont cool give a number and a theory or just a number

My thanks is 2 points to all + one luck person will be chosen, if its a tie then best theory/explaination gets the big ten.

Ive been told the answer but it could be wrong?its got to do with the distance between the elements in the lens.
