It is small (10" x 12") and isn’t worth anything. My excuses? I was just using up some old paint and several small canvases before starting work on a larger, more complex painting. And I needed some serious ‘goof-off’ time.

But even insignificant paintings ought to have titles. Even serious or even non-serious answers will be taken into consideration.

Thank you, and have fun.

It's happened to us all, we are busily working to blend something and notice a brush hair has come off on our painting. Its so hard to pick it off and not leave a pit in the paint, or if we brush at it, we get an effect that we don't want. So what is the best way to remove a hair, or lint from a wet painting without creating trouble?

I have one of his paintings and I guess he's known as artnet.com has past auction results (can't see them unless you pay to subscribe) but other than that I can't find any information on him at all... I'd hate to be the moron who ends up selling it at a yard sale to find out it's worth a few grand!

What I mean is... say I found a beautiful file of one of his paintings and wanted to have it printed out as a print at the local print shop. (instead of paying 125 bucks for a print at some poster site).

Is that legal?

I am a newly graduated student. I just got a job in NYC with a graphic design company. My passion is oil painting. How much would you pay for me to paint you a painting. Anything you would like it could be an existing piece or a family picture. Short answer please.

Years ago I was amazed by a type of art where the painting, a racetrack scene, was painted on a spindle in the center of a bowl with a reflective surface. The painting had to be skewed so that it showed properly in the reflection. I have been purchasing art and would like to try to track down a similar piece. Is anyone familiar with this type of art?

Bad puns probably shouldn't be translated to canvas even if you coined them yourself. So, cartoonish social comentary aside, this thing has me baffled. Is it as bad as I think it is and should it meet a justified demise?

Seriously, guys, do you go through this when you attempt a new style? A different direction? Do you ever go through a period where you don't know what you think of what you're doing? Where you don't know if what you're doing works or fails, has merit or is crap?
