I mean when you look at modern painters, everybody that does the choosing of great painters always opt for the classical type of painter; still life, portraiture, landscapes. But sci-fi/fantasy painters are some of the best anywhere and there are some really fantastic painters. My personal favorites are Frazetta, Whelan and Royo. Anyone have any more?

It is really frustrating how I cannot take any pictures of the fantastic Art I see, not just in the Louvre but any art gallary. What's the problem, why aren't I aloud to do this?

WHY??? would you pay lots of money for it?? i like paintings and pictures of nature and animals, calming sort of pictures, but whats up with this modern obsession to have people who are almost dehumanized bloody and monstrous, why is it that macabre art is so bleeding appealing...? i find it freaks me out.

I'm putting on a fundraiser and don't know exactly the best way to do a silent auction.

All proceeds go to Invisible Children organization.

each time i try to a colour combination, it gets yellowish or beige, does anybody know what paint colours do i need to mix to get a light skin tone on a painting and make it as realistic as possible?
