I have two Japanese silk tapestries?

They are both signed with characters and of good quality . They belonged to my Grandmother , she probably purchased them in the 60s . How can I trace the Artist and who would know what they are valued at

I would take them to an antiques dealer for an evaluation. Not going to cost you anything.
