I read that the more you open and close jpeg files, the more they will deteriorate and someone suggested saving all photos at a .tiff file? Anyone have some insight or help with this?

Does anyone know about Dioramas? We have a very large one of the Flying Cloud "1850" and it is a molded material of some kind. We wanted to know what the material is. I can send you a picture if you need it. The background looks like blackish felt and is somehow formed around the whole ship.

My photos never turn out how I'd like them to. I seem to take hundreds and then only one or two look ok (thank goodness for digital!). I have four children and try to take just natural, unposed shots. What are some nice ideas that can look really good?

I'm taking an art class and for one of my projects I want to transfer a photograph onto canvas. How can I do that as inexpensively as possible? I also don't want to hire someone to do it, I would like to do it myself.

Short story: I am going to model for a figure drawing class at my university. What should I expect?

Long story: My boyfriend broke up with me six months ago because he's LDS and I'm not. Our physical relationship caused him a lot of guilt and unfortunately caused guilt in me as well. I'm tired of seeing my body as sinful and I want to be comfortable with myself again. Will modeling for this class help my self-image and what can I expect?
