I am wanting to trace pictures from photographs that I have onto art paper. I was going to buy an opaque projector but then came across ads for light boxes on the net. Does anyone know how these work? Would I be able to use this to trace/outline a photograph or will it only work with a something I can shine the light through, like transparencies instead of the photo? Any information from someone who has used these would be helpful.

I shoot mostly portraits and use available light the majority of the time.
Do both cameras have similiar noise issues? Are skin tones natural?
Any input welcome!

PS I am looking at these 2 models as I like the idea of the dust cleaning sensor. The D80 is just slightly more than I want to spend.

Because the smell and toxicity level of the regular products are too strong. Can it have the same effect? I have been using it to thin out acrylic but it is still opaque and not translucent?

I have twin nieces whom are both excellent artists. (20 years old). Would like to send some of their work out to help them get started in their career. I would have thought it was that purple is a general description of all shades of purple, and violet is a specific shade. But is there any other difference? Something to do with the colour wheel/spectrum? Where the pigment comes from? A friend asked me.

after editing it should not look artificially like cut by lasso tool or by the extract option in filters.only the background should be removed without any prob to the foreground image.Give some ideas pls...i want edit my neighbour's child for his birthday present!
