I have a painting idea that would require my acrylics (it's all I have, and I have TONS) - to be thick enough to paint on with a knife. I know there's products out there, gels etc. to use for this purpose, but I don't have the 10-15$ to obtain these products. Are there cheaper alternatives? ie. house hold products? I was thinking something like toothpaste maybe, but haven't tried it yet.

Ok. So I have to do an art project and we're working on shading spheres. So what I need is a list of possible things that are spheres so I have an idea of what to draw.

Ex: Basketball, Orange, Clown Nose, Bubbles, Pearls....etc.

I was commisioned to paint a cast allumimum cast sea turtle.This is a huge chariety/social event like the cows in Chicago. Well it has ended up being all trouble. The man that bought the turtle gave it tohis ex-wife to paint. Well I didn't know anything more so I painted it. when I took it to the gallery I was told unless he paid me a minimum of so many dollars it would not be used.When he wastold that he apparently called the Gallery owner and totally absued her verbally.I am still shocked and horrified. I called him and offered to buy the turtle from him. He agreed. Then he called back and said his bosses would pay me so take him the turtle. this is what I must decide. 1. take the turtle collect the money. 2. Keep the turtle and sponser it myself ( knowing he will go insane) 3. Take him the turtle with all my work removed.4. If he sponsers the work I will feel ashamed to be connected to him. I don't like being around anything so trashy as him consider so out ofcontrol.
