Ah, Thomas Kinkade, my favorite artist. Jst thinking about his works brings me into a dream state like non other.

My apologies, I got lost in the moment. Thomas Kinkade uses oil based paint, but other than that, you may have to ask another artist this, or you can write to his address, well his art studio in northern California. I'm sure he will be glad to answer any of your questions. I know he does put more than effort and skill into his paints, he uses dreams and desires, love and hope, faith and all his heart and soul into each and every one of his pieces.

His paintings all have a "radiance" or light quality that is a giveaway or telltale sign of a Kinkaid.
