With displays like empty cans nailed to a piece of wood, or paint simply thrown across a canvas with no thought becoming more abundant and artists like Dali and DaVinci becoming more scarce...are we becoming blind to what is true art?

I was not aware that images cannot be linked and turned like you can turn images...and my wonderful waterfall is falling sideways.
Is there anyway of turning it back to landscape as I am never returning to that waterfall....and am so annoyed.
I tried to fit the full fall in...and had to go portrait to do that...and I just didn't think..

Look up the "Azul" wallpaper that is preloaded on Windows XP. Is there proof that this photo is real or if a place like this really exists? The scene is so idyllic and picturesque that it would be a wonder to know if the photo has not been doctored in any way. One cause for speculation is that the island is too small to support enough fresh water for its three coconut trees, especially when so closely surrounded by an ocean (literally!) of salt water. But what pristine water it is! Does any one know the truth behind this image?

I have a cheap digital camera. It doesn't have a preveiw screen, and won't take photos in dim light. I don't have a photographer or buddy who can help. I have a tripod and a 10 second timer. I have my bedroom. I want a good face shot. Does anyone have tips? Ideas? I especially want a good portrait shot.
