I guess it all depends on what you concider successful.

If it's fame and fortune you are looking for, it takes a lot of work. You have to be better than your competitors, not just as good as them. You have to be unique, there needs to be an edge about you that will draw people to you instead of going somewhere else.

If it's just the pure enjoyment then it's very easy to be successful. Just take pictures. End of statement.

Success is measured by you alone. Figure out what you want and work towards it.

my brother attended the brooks institute of photography and now he is extremely successful. he met his wife there another photographer. and he went on to study medical photography now he makes big bucks and their art work is incredible. and they loved the school.

open your eyes,,, be simple. and shoot, and always always ...taka a camera with u . dont need a bigone..
