I was wondering what causes people to dislike themselves and cause so much pain and sadness. I mean, why would one want to hurt themselves by thinking "I'm ugly..." or something like that? Animals do not throw themselves off of cliffs, so why must humans jump off of emotional bridges?

then there are ones, like me, who are caught in between it all.
fighting is common nature, but when at the human level, the anger seems something more.
wanting peace is an almost unnatual occrance, yet so many people struggle thier whole lives to try & make a difference.
what about when you are in the midst of conflict & you only want peace, yet at other times, you feel so much rage that you want to start the conflict yourself.

how can all this coexist in this ever changing wold?
