God denotes the deity believed by monotheists to be the sole creator and ruler of the universe. Conceptions of God can vary widely, despite the use of the same term for them all.
The God of monotheism, pantheism or panentheism, or the supreme deity of henotheistic religions, may be conceived of in various degrees of abstraction: as a powerful, human-like, supernatural being, or as the deification of an esoteric, mystical or philosophical category, the Ultimate, the summum bonum, the Absolute Infinite, the Transcendent, or Existence or Being itself, the ground of being, the monistic substrate, that which we cannot understand, etc. The more abstract of these positions regard any anthropomorphic mythology and iconography associated with God either sympathetically as mere symbolism, or unfavourably as blasphemous.
Theologians and philosophers have studied countless conceptions of God since the dawn of civilization. The question of the existence of God classically falls under the branch of philosophy known as metaphysics, but is also one of the key discussions taking place within the field of the philosophy of religion.

God is a funny "man" and hides Himself in plain sight. God is EXACTLY like an egg, the universal symbol of Life.
The shell of the egg represents all of physical reality - heaven, the cosmos, and 6 different vibrational dimensions all educating soul fragments in exactly the same place, overlapping.
No matter where we are (we're currently in the sixth dimension, the heaviest and darkest dimension away from heaven) we exist WITHIN the Spirit of Life which we call God.
The yoke of the egg is the highest concentration of God's essence and represents the part of Him that resides on The Throne in heaven.
The tiny air hole found in every egg represents the place where God is not, where He has been removed by free will (called the Abyss) or where He will eventually remove Himself after the judgment (called hell).
Our soul is a tiny fragment of the Life force of God that we exist within. Our purpose is to be separated from all knowledge and then to learn how to be just like God through many challenges and incarnations.

First of all, it's not "what" but "who". Who is God? That would be the appropriate question. God is the Creator of this Universe. He created the Heavens and the Earth and everything between them. He was not created. He never sleeps, He never dies. He is the beginning of all and nothing precedes Him. He is One.

Which one? There are many myths as to the nature of god or gods. Pick one, they are all the creation of man. God was made in mans image, not the other way around.

no one knows the answer to this. no one can know what or who god is. we can assume that god is not human, if god does indeed exist. and so if he is not human he can't really be described or understood by human thoughts, words, understanding, concepts.
there is no proof god does or does not exist. and there will probably never be proof. but that shouldnt be a discouraging thing. if you believe he exists, then you should do what you need to do. but knowing about god's essence is impossible.
but pretty much in a nutshell i think god is neither this nor that.

how do you describe a being that has so many faces. Every religion sees God as a different being or having a different name but they are all pretty much the same idea. I Believe, please keep in mind this is just what I believe, that god or goddess or both is our excact mirror images, we reflect them in every way, so I believe that to truely know your God you must look to yourself since we all experiance the same things differently our gods must be experianced differently

God is the infinite consciousness which pervades the universe. We realize it , feel it, and believe in it. It is just that humans need rules and definitions to tell us that this is GOD.. this is what He does..
When we look deep into ourselves, we realize that we are but ONE.. all of us are on the same path.. just seeing the way is the problem.
