I just bought a new Martin and i don't want to hurt my baby but I love the music from fingerpicking artists like John Butler and Don
Ross and want to know what the effects will be on my guitar, like truss rod and notation issues and things of that nature.

For his epic and touching film "Cast Away", Tom Hanks portrays a survivor on an uncharted Island. It appears that the right conservative wing has mocked the film as a flick where a man spends 15 minutes opening a coconut. I don't get it. This is a story of man's survival in the most difficult of situations. Yet this film is subjugated by low functioning "philosophers" to a level about a moron who is incapable of opening a nut. It appears that Tom Hanks is a magnet for bad revues from the right wing arena. Does anyone have enlightenment why these kind of thumbs down revues surface for brilliant Tom Hanks films?

I'm a bass baritone I can low g consistanly but ocassionally I can hit low Eb and even down to Deep C, although its a little weak. I won't force it, lower my larnyx or anything to the hit the low notes, but its still sore. My voice is still devolping so is it maybe just the fact that I'm not used my vocal chords vibrating at such a low frequency. Could it be from trying to sing in my head voice above the bass staff?

Has anyone ever seen Miss Saigon, or any other musical that you thought was great? I saw it and I thought it was amazing. I am looking forward to seeing Les Miserables soon too. I can't wait. I have seen Phantom of the Opera twice and it is incredible!

I'm a guy who makes freeware games with tools such as MultiMedia Fusion (www.clickteam.com). I am able to do both graphics and coding. However, I don't know how to make music. Usually, I'd try to find someone online who is good at this and ask them but a lot of times people will make music that doesn't really match the type of game I'm making. Therefore, I want to make my own music.

But, how do you learn to do this? Anytime I go anywhere near a keyboard I end up just making random noise. I have no sense of rhythm or anything. I once knew a guy online who was able to make music on anything. He'd send me music that he made on the SNES game Mario Paint. He was even able to make music on programs such as ModPlug tracker that requires you to input each note by hand. I tried to ask him how he learned to do this but he told me that he never took any music lessons or anything.

I want to have this sort of skill, or atleast be able to play music on a keyboard. How do I learn to do this?

an intense pre-professional training, with a rigorous Liberal-Arts (ciriculum), or courses. I was wondering about some of the top and whether a stellar SAT score could outweigh a relatively low overall GPA? I was also wondering about which schools would or might give more consideration to my talent over my academic record, if my talent proves to be better.
