I know there is a society of women magicians but I find it odd that I have never ever seen a woman magician.

All women are magician in real life.
They do not require to be termed as professional magician.

By the way world famous Magician P.C. Sorcar's daughter is a professional magician.

When magicians where around, they believed that females where too................... unintelligent for the job and could only be an assistant. but now they have the assistant doing most of the trick for the magician. so you could say that they both have a role. but some communities probably still think women can't do much.

What is all this CRAP about women lacking focus and concentration needed for magic blah blah blah (I noticed that it's coming from men).

My mother raised 8 kids, took care of a sick husband who could barely get out of bed for years, she ran a farm with 400 animals singlehandedly, baked bread, sewed all our clothes by hand, could handle any piece of machinery you could dream up. She was active in her church and her community, and could put in a day's work that would exhaust any 4 men. Neither my father, my brothers, uncles or any men I have ever known have had the multi-tasking abiilties or the awareness of what was going on she had, and there are millions just like her.

Men like to perpetuate the myth that women lack concentration because it makes men feel better. What women do often lack is self-confidence but they shouldn't as they are by far the superior sex.

It looks strange with the scantly clad guy assistance running around waving silk streamers. Plus, you probably couldn't pay a guy enough to saw him in half. Let alone get a woman near his mid-section with a saw.

ya, that's strange.
our brain work on many things at the same time. & each persons brains are good at doing some different things at the same time. richard feynman did some experiments on it . he found that some can count (mentally) & listen at the same time, & some can count & read at teh same time.
women are usually left brainys. they are not so good at 3-d spacial orientation. magic involves knowing ur projection from all angles, & also involves doing multiple things simultaneously. probably female brain is not fit for these things

They have reached a higher degree of magic, that men magiciens only aspire to and they are all invisible. (Another reason could be that boys are encouraged to get interested in conjuring and magicien style magic while girls are encouraged to become interested in witches thus maybe you are looking under the wrong listing.
