The missus has just rolled in from a show. Her answer to the question: "they should be shot". I think that's extreme but then I didn't see it.

Apparently almost an hour of the show had no music at all, just the occasional ding and clonk, and one piece was accompanied by a continual "nyeeeeeeeeeeeee" sound. Every piece was monotonous and too damn long.

Are there other shows this bad, or was this just an isolated horror?

i have a gibson les paul. for awhile now my high e string snaps at the bridge a week after i replace it. i'm wondering if i should try filing the bridge, or if it could just be the type of strings i was using. both D'Addario and Elixir strings have broken so i'm thinking it's the bridge. how would i go about fixing this?

I just purchased a brand new electric guitar and I will award the brand new guitar to the winner of my Music Collaboration Contest. The best guitar player wins the guitar and the chance to collaborate with me, a rock music singer/songwriter who sings and plays the electronic piano in the keys of C and F. My styles include similarities to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, The Beatles,The Archies as background music, and Jackie Lomax as blues. You may be interested in purchasing my new CD called The Odds, a witty, original extravaganza. If you want try out the guitar, contact me through this web department.

Firstly, i wanted to find out the position of the congas. (whether the lower pitch conga is placed on the left or the right) I also wanted to know if there is any lessons online available for beginners.

Next, I would like to know what kind of drumset is good for intermediate players. I would like to know the prices too.

thanks.

My friend will play guitar and I will sing songs on a popular street downtown, and will ACCEPT (NOT ask for) money. What are some tips to help us seem cooler or cuter or just better in general, so that people will be more willing to give us money?

"you look
but are you seeing?
on the outside i'm fine,
but inside i'm screaming!
the scars are slowly fading,
but the pain stays buried deep.
you've never never seen me cry,
but i sob myself to sleep.

(chorus:) and you can't see it
unless you know what you are looking for.
and you can't tell me how i feel
unless you know how i felt before.
and you can't feel this pain
unless you aren't afraid to reach out.
and you can't make me be sure of myself
unless you yourself aren't in doubt.
and you can't help me now
unless you've known my past.
and you can't try and make me love you...

...unless i know that yours will last

-end chorus-

you hear me
but are you listening?
my voice is small and fading
so now i am only whispering.
you can hear the laughs
but can you hear the emptiness?
will you be the one to hear me?
will you be the one to end this?

(repeat chorus)

...unless i know that yours will last...."

When I sing, I sing from my throat. How do I sing from my diaphram? Don't tell me that my stomach, right under my rib cage should expand, every teacher I have had has told me that but it has never helped.

How did your teacher teach you? Is it something you can explain or is it something I have to discover on my own? What should it feel like?
