Since this is a question of opinion it is hard to answer. I don't feel that death is hostile. Losing so many loved ones in my life I have come to realize that death is a release. I guess if I had to answer this question as it was phrased I would say, "war."

The death of our dearest one before our eyes would be more hostile than our death!!! Only one with a true experience of this can say this! I pray that none in the world come across such experience!

Why do you think death is hostile? I wouldn't use that word to describe it. Sometimes it is peaceful and sometimes painful, but hostile....I don't get that.
