Well, I guess it started during slavery. I remember learning slaves used to sing religious songs as a code, but that's about all I remember. I don't even think that has much to do with shaping religion. Please help. Sources would be nice so I could be sure that you remember correctly, but anything would be appreciated.

Yes, an odd question. Looking for information about the possibility of the early 1900's a boat being chartered from Coney Island, NY which might've been used for astronomy purposes, and might've contained a group that had a child amongst them who would've been around 10 years of age, possibly named Caroline.

Can you help me answer some of these questions?

Why did Madison agree that the presence of “factions” and “interests” would aid the government in functioning democratically?
How would compromise prevent the “unjust majority” from taking control of the government?
Why did Madison believe that the “spirit of party and faction” would have a positive impact on the government?
Why did Madison believe that a large government would be more successful than a small government?

With the aid of the French, George Washington was able to corner Lord Cornwallis at Yorktown. However, I'm curious to know if the Continental Army stood a chance against the British had France not gone in on America's side. Without Washington's victory at Yorktown, just how different a war might the American Revolution have been? Would it just have dragged on and on, or would the British have promptly ruined our efforts? Furthermore, would the colonies remain under British rule today?

I don't want to hurt any feelings.Just want to know how people feel about it.I didn't even know this guy until one day I noticed his picture in one of my friends' T-shirt.At first I thought he was a pop idol or something.I even found his image beside the likes of Mahatma Gandhi! He was a violent blood-thirsty revolutionary molded by marxist ideals.Infact his 'guerrila warfare' kind of revolution brought more damage than success.Thousand died in bloodbath which were pointless. As a result what he got in the end was inevitable.Gandhi is the father of our nation and he was a strong follower of non-violence movement or satyagraha.Don't take me wrong but Che doesn't even come head-and-shoulders to him.Even the likes of Bhagat singh,Chandrsekhar Azad were far greater revolutionaries because they were not guided by blind ideals of 'blood and iron' but the love for their motherland.Sadly there are many such revolutionaries all around the world but do they get the same attention as Che gets?
