My paragraph -

When Theodosius died in 395 AD, he left the Roman Empire to his two sons Honorius and Arcadius. Honorius took throne over Western Rome and Arcadius of the East. These two emperors were superlatively young, inexperienced, and flat out uninterested in the leadership. As Constantine marched his troops throughout England into France collecting troops to march into Rome, it was obvious his plans were to conquer Rome at its weakest.

The Blackfoot, Cherokee, Cheyenne, Comanche, Omaha, Osage, Oglala Lakota, Nez Perce and Sauk have been wiped out.

Like most of us around the world, I've been bombarded with images of the twin-tower come tumbling down; the screaming Yanks running along the street; the cries of how hardly-done-by they were...and all the rest of it.

But also like many around the world I've watched as that country played their own political games in other countries backyards; the total lack of respect shown for anything not American; the arrogance; the global bullying. I've also had to watch the voting in of one after another President who has sanctioned such methods.

I'm no supporter of terrorist tactics, but after the actions of America following 9/11; after the way they had the audacity to re-elect Bush (the very epitome of all that is to be despised in that country) - am I the only left wondering if the US got off way too lightly??

What was the size of the german military during the early part of ww II. Except for the UK and Spain, how could it have dominated western europe so easily. Were countries close collaborators with the Germans than history would have us believe. Or the populations were sleep walking thru the invasion of their countries. Seems crazy that one country's military could have caused so much death and destruction to a continent full of people
