‘hoho-haha-hehe’

Please note majority of the people have sympathy with what has happened to the American Indians.
Almost all answers are from people who, going by the names are of European extraction.
You sound like an extremist Islamic Jehadist, hellbent on death and destruction.

A better name instead of your present name would be ‘Kabooom’.

Keep in mind as you will need a new Y!A id soon.

I believe that disease that was brought over from settlers, fighting, and the killing of their main food, the Buffalo. Which was not only their food, but was used for nearly everything within a tribe were main causes of the demise of native tribes. The tribes after all lived in harmony with the land, and moved around and would only kill as much as they needed. The settlers would kill for fun upsetting the food chain. I read a book many years ago written by George Catlin, I can not remember the title, but he wrote the last known diaries of all the tribes before they dwindled, and there were many of them. I found there many, some that we may not have heard of the 'Flatheads' were a fascinating read (I am not sure if this was just a given name by the author, so apologies for not knowing their proper name). If you are able to get the book I would recommend it, he also painted the tribes, there is one of a hunting scene. So I would imagine it would be easy to look him up if you are interested.

A lot of people would have you think that when the Europeans arrived in North America they encountered peaceful Indian tribes living in harmony. This is far from true. When the Europeans arrived in North America they encountered violent Indian tribes as often as they encountered peaceful ones!

North American Indians did not live in peace with one another all the time. They had wars, battles, and were quite fond of shooting each other with arrows (which were far more deadly than the muskets Europeans brought with them).

A number of tribes were destroyed by disease, I will admit, but the vast majority of Indian deaths prior to the European arrival was due to war with other tribes. Afterward I'd guess that deaths were split evenly among fights with Europeans and fights with other tribes. It's interesting to note the manner in which European colonists exploited the Indians and made them work against each other. It is quite possible that if the Indians had worked together they could have repelled the Europeans.

As for the actual wiping out of tribes after the European arrival, you can imagine how quickly the novelty of the Europeans wore off for the Indians. Indians raided settlements and Europeans fought back. As the boundaries of European settlement pushed westward the Indians were forced westward as well. Many tribes resented this and attempted to defeat the colonists in order to preserve their homelands. Sometimes it worked, but in the end the Europeans obviously got the upper hand. Tribes were forcibly moved westward where years later different European settlers were hassled by them. Wars were fought, massacres were carried ou, and many, many Indians died. Unfortunately for the Indians of the late 19th century there were few unsettled places to send them. Many people felt that the Indians should be assimilated into "white" society. Schools were set up where Indian chilren were sent. These schools forced children to learn English and reprimanded them for speaking their Indian languages. This practice became more and more common as the 20th century came about and less fighting with the Indians happened.

Combine the effects of disease, war, displacement, and the stripping of cultural heritage, and you can easily see what happened to many of the Indian tribes native to North America. It is an interesting historical footnote, however, that Indian language helped the allies win the second world war. Their nuique language was used as code to send information across the Atlantic and to the troops. The Axis codebreakers didn't know what to make of the Indian language and couldn't decode the messages!

Hope this helped. Good luck!

Yes, there was several Native American tribes prior to the European invasion. When the Europeans invaded America, Native Americans were killed in wars over their land. Plus, Europeans brought diseases from their home countries to the New World. The diseases that came over with the Europeans were foreign to the Native Americans, therefore; most Native Americans who contracted a European disease died.

In the book "Germs, Guns and Steel" teh author makes the point that Europeans had developed immunities to various diseases that others such as Native Americans, Inuit and Aztecs didn't have. These wiped out vast numbers and left the way for any opposition to wiped out by the use of the guns.

The majority of the American Indians who lived during the time of the first European western explorations and attempts of colonization (Columbus' epic voyage included) were wiped out because of the European diseases spread to them.

at the starting up, Europeans had diverse concepts about a thanks to address the natives they encountered contained in the recent international. some estimates placed the interior of reach inhabitants at 250,000,000 in all of NA. certain many were killed through diseases, yet that does no longer account for the enormous decline in inhabitants. The Protestant English, Dutch, Swedes, seen natives as subhuman and consequently in hardship-free words in nice condition for extermination. the recent international develop into their land and all subhumans were both to leave or die. The Catholic Spanish and French seen natives as people with particular rights. despite the undeniable fact that maximum were exploited as low-cost perplexing artwork, they had to be kept alive to be of use. that is why in places once conquered through Protestant English and such, there are hardly any Natives left. entire peoples, cultures, and languages have disappeared. in actual actuality in those places conquered through the Catholics, there are nonetheless tens of millions of natives alive and thriving of their cultures.

Actually, accidental introduction of diseases by European immigrants caused far more deaths than battles, etc....as closed societies who had never been exposed to such germs and viruses, even simple childhood diseases nearly decimated certain tribes. As far as battles go, they killed each other in nearly equal numbers during territorial wars, as the amount killed in conflicts with non-Indians.
