I used to be a dancer for many many years, however I quit 5 years ago and am still interested in all types of dance. Does anyone know if they offer beginner adult lessons. Is it too late to return I am about 20 and have been away from it for almost 6 years. I also found my old pointe shoes and wanted to do that. Any suggestions on self teaching myself to go up on pointe again, on strengthing my ankles and what not? Thank you.

I am 16 years old. When I was 5-10 I danced ballet, jazz, and tap.
I would like to learn pointe now. It looks like a lot of fun and work. I love danceing and I have a very good turnout and very strong legs. I am 6 feet tall and about 10lbs over weight. In your opinion would I be able to start? And if you have anytips for starting, picking out shoes, and such please include them. Thanks!!

I don't want to call 911 because I think he might get in trouble since he kinda did it on purpose (just to teach me a lesson), but the blinding pain in my pelvis won't go away and my vision is starting to get blurry. I need help fast!!!!!

I am taking belly dancing classes, and several people that I dance with have told me about male belly dancers. I haven't been able to find any video clips. Any suggestions?

I am a very expierenced dancer. I have been taking Ballet for 8 years. My instructor said I would be going on in the fall but...we have a Summer Dance Camp and you could move up a level or go on pointe shoes quicker. I have 2 weeks to get my self ready how can I get more arch in my foot? How will I get better allignment? Cuz I sooooo badly want to get on. I know there are some expierenced dancers out there and I really need all the help I can get!!!!!!!!!

The background sample is Billie Jean, in the song, and some of the words are: bounce left, bounce right, go ahead and shuffle it....
I think it just came out about this time last year, and I still can't get it when I go to the clubs.

I'm very flexible, can do the splits no problem and have been dancing for ever! though not professionaly. I can lift my leg up to my ears when doing grand battements! however when I have to maintain it held high up a la second or in front it drops and I find it really hard to sustain. I know i must be using my hamstrings too much because I can feel it. Do you know of any exercises to improve this? Or is there any trick? Some girls look as if they could be smoking a cigarette while having the leg very high up with no apparent effort. All they say to me is that one day it just happened!
