I am getting married in December and we want to surprise everybody by taking dance lessons and dance to Jingle Bell Rock, or Rockin Around the Christmas Tree. What style of dance would that be??

Swing! My son, when he was 8 years old performed a routine with his partner to Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree at Buddy & Laurie Schwimmer's 5-6-7-8 Christmas Gala held in Redlands, CA. They did a combination east coast/west coast swing and it was really neat!

You would do swing to either of these songs.

some form of swing could do super for "Jingle Bell Rock". you may desire to additionally be waiting to wreck out with Texas 2-Step in case you have have been given everyone on your section who can coach that (it is particularly plenty purely a changed person-friendly swing). and not which you asked my opinion in this, yet I want "Jingle Bell Rock" as a song. ;)

I woudl think a 50's swing step would be good, and a lot of fun.
