Learned at 7 years Easy to learn, just got have the arm strength to at least do a handstand. The key is to sit back in an invisible chair with your arms straight out in front of you. Swing your arms down as you bend your legs for a jump. Throw your arms up over your head as you jump and tilt you head back. Use your abdominals to force your legs up above you and "spot" the ground as you make contact. Keep your arms stiff, but do not lock them nor do you want to bend them to much or you will hit your head. Now push up and whip your legs around in one clean motion like you would in a round-off.

I can do a backhandspring. It took me 4 years (I started when I was 14) to learn how at a professional gym (once a week). the older you are, the harder it will be. I cheered and most of the girls that cheered with me took at least a year before they could do it. Some never did. the more you do it, the quicker you will get it.

I used to by a cheerleader in high school. I'm 19 now. When I first started cheering I was in the 6th grade, It took me 2 weeks to learn it and get it down perfectly, but that was with the help of a professional. Make sure you stretch and are flexible enough before you try to do it.

I learned how to do a back handspring a lot faster than I was able to do a front one. It only took a few tries when I was about 8. Just make sure you've got someone spotting you

It took me a day when I could do it. I have since had back surgery and can no longer do them, but I started by doing back walk overs which evolved to a back layout which evolved to a back handspring. I was doing the walk overs for a few weeks, though.
