well 15 is a good age but if your scared of being with little kids i would reccomend a teen or an adult class. you said you like jazz and contemporary. well jazz is easier to come across for beginning adult/teen classes. also i recommend ballet because it is the foundation of all dance!!!!

I am a dancer and I will tell you now I was worried about the same thing. They will put you in a class that is your age group and level of dance knowledge. To be sure mention to the teacher you would like to be tested for what level of dance you would be in and that you would like to be put in a class with your age group. Dont worry and good luck :)

i started dance at 13. Just take a few private lessons. Go for it! It's so fun!

Go nuts, if you're having fun, who cares!! And with a gymnastics background you are bound to do well and get noticed.
