I've got an antique plate with the markings M.Z and Austria on the back. The front has a profile portrait of a woman w/ long, flowing dark brown hair. The plate is approximately 12" in diamter and has a dark red and green border with gold trim.

This is where I get confused. If mankind (or womankind) is inherently evil, that means by definition that I have a gene in my DNA that says I'm evil. Doesn't that slant more towards predestination?

The romans were originally mediterraneans but in most of its documentaries there are many people who tend to be more nordic or alpine than mediterranean. It would be nice to give credit to us mediterraneans for our achievements then and stop portraying romans etc. to appear to be alpine (which is ok) and even more so nordic (which is not okay)!
