I don't know ron....But in poker(black jack) or(21) when delt an 11 you double your bet before you get your next card...and hope it is a ten (or face-card also counted as a ten)...

It means double down on 11 while playing black jack. I play like a madman and will double on 15..and sometimes I win to the astonishment of the dealer :)

Its when you doubledown in blacjack. He is saying he always doubledowns when he has 11 in his hand.
