Christmas song solo/choral where Christ should have been laid instead of manger?

It's like a ballad soloist telling the story of the manger and how Christ could have had a cushy bed but he had a manger instead. Does anyone know the name?

what's the best way to learn lines for a play?

I have to learn a part for an amatuer play called 'Trap for a lonely man' , but I am having difficulty learning all my lines. I have tried taping parts of it, which does help. Certain bits are easy but others are quite hard to remember. We have had several rehearsals and now it's time to do it without books !

How do we get people to come and listen to our band?

Music related companies won't give you any support unless you are pulling a lot of punters to your gigs. How do you get people to your gigs without a music company backing for promotion, airplay etc. The small band catch 22.

I believe the music is good and the live shows are good.

Anyone got any ideas?
