Hey I have a betta and he has little pebbles in his tank. Do they like big pebbles instead of little pebbles? What i mean to ask is is it OK to put big pebbles in instead of little pebbles?

Also he lives in a 2 1/2 L tank. i was told if bettas are given too much room to swim they get fin probl;ems. Is this true? Would he be better off in a big tank?

I was just wondering if my employer had the right to ask why I was going to the doctor? Is it enough to just tell my employer that I'm sick and I'm going to the doctor and I will provide a note if nescessary? Or do I have to actually tell the specific reason why I'm going to the doctor?

The reason I'm asking is because I could have sworn there was a law against it but I can't find anything about it. The reason I think there is a law is because the reason for going to a doctor is very personal and should be kept private. You especially would not want your employer to know if you had an embarassing condition. I know my doctor will not disclose any information without my premission.

I'm not sick right now, but I was just curious. I live in the state of Virginia if that matters.

Imagine a rope wrapped around the Earth at the equator. Then think of adding "d" feet to the rope's length s o it can now circle Earth at a distance "h" feet above the equator at all points.
1. Write an equation to model this situation.
2. Solve your equation for "d"
2. How much rope do you need to insert if you want the rope to circle Earth 500 feet above the eqautor? Use 3.14 for π.

Their gullibility knows no bounds provided the anti-religious propaganda they are hearing is what they are hearing is what they want to hear. You know the sort of thing - "the gospels were written hundreds of years after Jesus". Even a passing knowledge of the relevant scholarship would reveal that, and many other oft repeated assertions, to be untrue.

I need ideas in how to buy and prepare tofu. I want to go vegan.

I'm a bit picky with food. I wanna quit eating chicken, and eventually milk, cheese, ice cream... and the like. That's all the animals I eat x_X I don't eat red meat or any other animals.

Everyone is crying that certain animals will become extinct soon, Polar Bears, Tigers, Condors and many others.
So what? Nature will provide.
Millions upon millions of animals, large and small, have had their chance on this planet and failed. That's life!
If the Sierra Club or Green Peace were around millions of years ago, interferring with natures selection we would all be fighting dinasaurs today.
If the Polar Bear dissapears, something else would take out all the seals and penguins. Sure there may be a period where seals dominate the Sourth Pole but something would come along and level out the playing field.
No animal is vital for life to thrive on earth. If one or two die out, get over it. It's nature.
P.S. Don't bring up "Global Warming" That's another issue.

My husband has in & out of these type of internet sites for a few years now (I know by checking the history). Recently he had an email and they referred to him as a member sending him pics of potential matches, etc. I don't think he'd cheat, but he works long hours, and I sometimes wonder if he wants someone else. Also, money seems short at times. What would you think??
