I know all the roots and stuff. I know I have to believe (which I do) and I know that it takes time, but I've tried a lot of things and still nothing. It's been at least 2 weeks. Should I be getting any results soon?

Plus, some easy excercises would be lovely. :D

In answer to a previous Q, Monkey Man said, "The person above seems to challenge atheists to say that God doesn't exist. You cannot prove a negative. It is up to you to prove that God exists which haven't done and I say ever will." I agree that this negative CAN'T be proved, and neither can God be proved. For a believer, the absence of proof is called Faith. But i challenge the general statement that negatives can't be proved. Is this scientific?

The 9th Circuit Court decided to remove a cross from a World War I veterans memorial in California’s Mojave Desert. In 2004 Congress passed legislation that would transfer an acre of the Mojave Desert Memorial (the part that the cross sits on) to private ownership in exchange for five acres. This was to remove it from federal jurisdiction. The circuit court then said that the federal government couldn’t exchange federal lands for private lands in order to maintain the cross. This cross has been the center of the Mojave Desert Veterans Memorial for three quarters of a century.

What do you think of all this?

Our family dog that we've had for 10 years and I love like my best friend is suddenly really sick. My mom looked up some info online about what she might have and she thinks it's like a bloating gas problem and now my dog might not have much longer to live. I really want to take her to the vet like a normal family, but my parents are too cheap to spend money to get her help. I can't just let my dog die like this! Does anyone have a suggestion on what I should do!?

my moms toy poddle was attacked by another dog right around midnight, the next day she took him to the vet, they "treated" him, kept him over night, when they sent him home, they didnt give him a cone to wear to keep him from licking his wound or give him antibotics. Now this morning she took him back because his wounds opend again, now she might have to put him down because of infections. now the vet said some should have given my mom antibotics when he was sent home from the previous night. Should we sue?

I have an idea for a computer program/system that achieves very specific ends. I've searched for the last year for an existing program to use with no luck. It occurs to me, as I'm thinking of investing in a bespoke program, whether I should patent the idea.

I read on ipo.gov.uk/patent that it's important not to have told anyone about a patent you are about to file.

During searching and developing the idea, I've emailed a few people on the internet to see if they can help (With no replies, obviously too busy for little me). I've also talked to 2 developers in varying detail about the idea.

How might my prior communications affect a patent request or enforcement thereof?

One of the developers and people I've emailed are in business indirectly related to my idea but one is BLATANTLY in the same game, maybe even competition.

Not sure how to procede as I've basically given the idea to a potential competitor before the date the patent would be filed.

Any help from Pro's/experienced?

We just bought a chevy blazer from this guy for 500 dollars. He said it didn't ren that the guy had done work to the fuel system and had crossed wires somewhere. We figured it would be a steal to buy it for 500 and fix that tiny problem and have a great new truck. well once we got it home itsturned out a bad idea. no wires were crossed. its a 2.8 L TBI. We have gone through and tried to figure out everything. Seems all areas are getting power in the voltage it calls for in the tech book. The gas is getting through everywhere but once it gets to the throttle body its not coming out. Anyone have any idea what could be causing this? My boyfriend just went ahead it put it in the trading post to sell for now cause we are tired of dealing with it. Ang suggestions would be very helpful

We planted some habanero pepper plants this summer and, wow, they went gangbusters! I've got dozens upon dozens of these little fireballs and I'm wondering now what to do with. I like hot food as much as the next guy but with these things you need one peppers at a time. Anyone got suggestions of ways to perserve these as sauces, freezing, salsas or something that will keep for several months? I've never canned but I'm willing to try....

So here is the deal. I am going to the National Guard in January, and when I return in March after 9 weeks of boot camp, I want to start enrolling back in college for my second degree. It's going to be a degree in architecture, however, with the recent housing slump and the recession and all, is it a field that is worth going into? I figured that if that didn't work out, I'd pursue web design, yet another passion of mine.

I used to work for an architect, but I left because he was a miserly old fool who cared more about how many hours you worked as opposed to how much you were worth.

Any suggestions?

I've read most of Stephen King novels but only a few of his short stories. So far my favorite is "The Ballad of the Flexible Bullet." Would you recommend some others that are preferably about 30 pages or less? And include a extremely short description that doesn't give away anything important.
