When did we EVER have to "fight them here"? A terrorist attack is not the same thing as a military invasion - there IS no way to "fight" it. It's over in - I don't know, how long does it take a plane to fly into a building and explode?

Problem number 1: A number consists of two digits followed by the digit 4. A second number starts with the digit 4 followed by the same two digits as used in the first number.

The equation for this problem would be 10x + 4 (first number) and (400 + x) - 400 (second number).

So the question is, if the second number is as much greater than 400 as the the first number is smaller than 400, what is the first number?

Problem number 2: Sea water contains 5% of salt (by weight). How many kg of fresh water should be added to 40 kg of sea water for the latter to contain 2% salt?

Problem 3: The length of a rectangle is increased by 20% while its with by 10%. What percentage increase is there in its area?

Problem 4: Emily wishes to mix two types of tea. Type A costs $0.36 per kg while type B costs $0.50 per kg. She then sells the mixture at $0.46 per kg and makes a profit of 20% of the total cost. What percentage of the total mixture is made up of type A?

Ok, Im 24 and I still have acne. Since I can remember, probably 13, 14 I have been doing one thing or another to clear my acne with varying results. Anyways, I am eating real healthy now, like literally 10 fruits/veggies a day, 2 liters of water, etc etc. I workout everday and have been for the past 3 years,, yet my acne persists.

Soooooo I was thinking, what if I just did nothing. No more creams on my face, no nothing. Just wash it morning and night and thats all.

Has anyone done this also and succeeded? I dont want to hear about peoples acne clearing after puberty because my acne is obviously not puberty related.

Here is a true story. When I was a kid, I was a Jehovah's Witness. My parents made me go door to door selling the Watchtower and Awake magazine, and, if I could really score, the "Truth" book. So I'm bopping down the block, "Good morning sir/ma'am, I am here to share the good news with you", and this one chick, I was like 10 years old, she answers the door completely naked. Well, I had never seen a naked woman before, and it rendered me speechless. I ran away from the door and tried to find my brother who was down the street somewhere. So, here is what you do. Just peel those clothes off fast when you see the Jehovah's Witnesses coming and enjoy your moment in the sun.

You keep arguing that you cannot force a person to do something. But if you're FORCING them, wouldn't that be against their WILL? Therefore, they still HAVE a will--you're just trying to get them to do something that goes against it.

So......if God is all-powerful, it seems like a simple task to create humans that are instilled with a love for him and a belief in him, yet still have free will otherwise.

If you say its not possible, you're saying God can't do it.

I am just curious how long it took all of you to get back into your pre-pregnancy clothes. I could finally fit back into mine after about 8 1/2-9 weeks. I only gained 26lbs and lost about 9lbs when I gave birth so I only had to lose 17lbs.
