Its said if the enemy fights you, fight them back and when they call for peace then you call for peace also and sit and listen but remain never forgetful of the events that was passed and always take goodness where goodness is offered.

Sure, but it would be with eyes wide open. Note that this war on Terrorism is a coalition of over 40 participating nations, including Russia and France, so whether we listen or not, may or many not make any difference. We are not in this alone.

Well, perhaps we should talk with Charles Manson too. Makes about as much sense. Then what? He's still Charles Manson. He's still a crazy, psychotic, whack job. So what, in the end, will these talks have accomplished?
Still, I'm up for anything if it might help. In fact, I'd suggest we send Nancy Pelosi, John Kerry, John Murtha and Harry Reid over to test the old waters and I look to you pacifist liberals out there to support this reasonable idea.

You can't trust terrorist groups to keep a promise.
Look at other terrorist groups in the world:
Irish Republican Army (IRA, Ireland)
Euskadi Ta Askatasuna (ETA, Spain)
Israel Defense Forces (IDF, Israel)

Negotiate with the terrorists, with their fingers crossed behind their backs, a knife in their hand, a bomb on the chest and in their car!? I don't see negotiating with terrorists as being feasible.
Definition of a terrorist:
One who utilizes the systematic use of violence and intimidation to achieve political objectives, while disguised as a civilian non-combatant.

This is an unrealistic question. Terrorists have no interest in peace.

That would mean they aren't terrorists if they were looking for a diplomatic means to end conflict.
Terrorists don't use political negotiation to meet their goals (they have resorted to violence, that's what makes them 'terrorists') - the question doesn't make sense.
Naive doesn't even begin to explain how stupid some people are...
What is there to negotiate? How every non-muslim (in the case of AQ) is going to either convert or kill themselves? How every non-Sharia law enforcing government in the world is going to convert all their population and enforce fundamentalism?
It goes like this: *boom* = dead women and children. Terrorists demand something. Non-terrorists say 'can't we just get along.' Terrorists say 'sure if you do exactly what we say.' *boom* = dead women and children. Non-terrorists say 'ok fine, we'll do what you say just don't hurt us anymore.' Terrorists say 'thanks for listening.' Non-terrorists say 'awww see we get along just fine now.' *boom* = dead women and children. Terrorists say 'oh by the way we want you to do this now...'

No we would not, we would just manipulate the subtitles to say that they hate us and are planning another attack.
Just look at the Black beard Bin Ladin video and the 911 confession video showing a fat healthy Bin Ladin wearing a wedding band (not allowed under Muslim law) when the previous and subsequent videos show him pale thin and sickly.

Thanks american media, dumbass Democrat congress, and weak public education -- you have led your country to a land of morons. "Will terrorists ask for Peace Talks"

Goodness sake, we've been helping terrorists get out of that game for decades!
When they stop killing innocent civilians deliberately, stop hiding behind them, stop hiding weapons in mosques and schools, they have our attention, we can talk peace.
How many times do we have to do it to get credit for it?
