i am going to roseville in september. i've never been to california before and i was just wanting to make sure i see everything i can while i'm there. i know i'm going to see the redwoods and i would love to see the golden gate bridge. any ideas of fun things to see while i'm there?

They decided that there was a monopoly and dismantled the phone company. They even went after Bill Gates. The oil companies are making billions in profits and NOTHING is being done. Please give better answer than Bush. The DEMS control Congress and they aren't doing anything either.

I love my life. My husband and I are very successful, drive very nice cars, live in a gorgeous condo, have great friends, and I recently found out I am pregnant...my worst nightmare. I had thought about getting my tubes tied b/c I never wanted kids. My husband knew this and seemed to be okay with it. I haven't told my husband yet and I want to have an abortion. I know I must sound like a horrible person but I am just not the mom type. I know everyone says that changes when you see your baby but I KNOW that will not happen for me. I don't want to take time off of work, not go out at night with friends, I do not want my life to be any different as I've worked hard to be as happy as I am. What should I do?

In the bible, there is the following:
A certain ruler asked, "Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?" I assume when Jesus says "Come follow me" he means become my desciple. But earlier in the bible, Jesus says:

"If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brother and sisters, yes, even his own life, he cannot be my disciple...In the same way, any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple."
-Luke 14:26-33
So God wants us to hate everyone and love everyone. What does he mean?

There's this one book called "Bastard Out Of Carolina" and there is a movie based on the book. Also called "Bastard Out Of Carolina".

My friend told me the book and movie is very touching and very very good and that I should read it and watch the movie.
I just wanted to know, have you ever watched the movie and what do you think of it?

What's it about? What was your favorite scene?

I've heard it's a disturbing movie, but doesn't it have a story behind it?

i believe they landed on the moon in 1969, just one question. how did the camera work? why didnt radiation effect the film? IMAX when filming the building the I.S.S. had to build special cameras cos the sun messed em up sp how come this didnt happen on the moon???

I am sick of all these religious fights and abuses. These people don't want to accept anything but their narrow and inflexible views. Everyone else is utmost wrong. Everyone else will go to hell. Or will just die, really die. In fact, why wait for that, let's kill them all. Right?

These poor believers are so desperate about their beliefs, because they have invested everything into that, and they cannot accept the idea of having been wrong, SO wrong all their life... It is totally understandable, the shock, the internal consequences and the effort are beyond words.
That is why I ask this, how on earth could we, "non believers, heretics and devils", do something for them?
Why should we do anything for them, you ask? Well, maybe out of altruism, maybe to remember where we came from, or maybe just because we are forced to live on the same small planet with them.
So... How can we do that?
