Being Tall Can Be a Bummer, right?

Is there any one else who is going through the same problems I am. I can't find clothes that fit right, I weight a ton (169 pounds), 5'10, and feel huge. Everyone tells me I'm thin but thick. And the only way I can lose weight is if I stop eating.
And... I think guys are intimidated. Gosh! Is anyone going throught the same thing. Not the entirely same thing. LOL.

Problem rebooting and couldn't get on the internet but suddently I could. What's going on.?

Rebooted the computer and tried to install my NTL cd rom to install the internett connection thing, but despite repeated attempts the CD rom only went so far and then came up with error code 800 and asked me to retry. I eventualy gave up. Then just decided to click on the E symbol and low and behold I got straight on to the internet, but I didn't install it?

How about a little diversity exercise?

We do these kind of things at work to get to know each other better. Its a little "touchy feely" but can be fun. Its very easy to make a judgement about people by what their label is. Lets each tell something that no one here knows about us. One rule, it cant be about your religion. State your belief system and what you want to share.

Here is mine! I am an atheist. I love the movie So I Married an Axe Murder. (total guilty pleasure!)

I need an example of a failure of Newton-Raphson method that occurs because it's close to an equation's curve?

What I'm asking is, when a point is selected near the curve of the graph of an equation, it diverges from the root you are trying to find, I just need an example of an equation that diverges from the required root, I honestly don't know how to explain this so it might not make sense but if you can help, please do.
