We do these kind of things at work to get to know each other better. Its a little "touchy feely" but can be fun. Its very easy to make a judgement about people by what their label is. Lets each tell something that no one here knows about us. One rule, it cant be about your religion. State your belief system and what you want to share.
Here is mine! I am an atheist. I love the movie So I Married an Axe Murder. (total guilty pleasure!)

The reason I want people to state their belief system is I want to dispel stereotypes.

I am socially shy but in the business world very outgoing. I can speak to a crowd of hundreds on a topic, but I can't mix and mingle at a party. I love job interviews, but have a hard time talking to others at a baby shower. I can sell just about anything, but its almost impossible to ask someone to donate to a good cause.
My favorite movies are "It's A Wonderful Life" and "Office Space". I think all people are one of the character types on "The Wizard of Oz", and I vowed as a little girl I would marry a tin man, and I did. Instead of smoking or drinking, my vices are books and flowers.
I love animals, and can't imagine ever eating something with fur, like a rabbit or a sheep; can't stomach eating baby anything; but I have no problem throwing a live lobster in boiling water and then ripping it apart and dipping it in butter.
I believe in Individual Responsibility, Hard Work, Honesty, living The Golden Rule, American Freedoms, and the value of all human life, regardless of country of origin, race, creed, or any other thing discriminated against. I vote for a person, not a party.

I like your exercise, but think it's strange that you call religion a hands-off topic, then state your lack of religion. There must be more about you than that...
Why can't you leave religion out of your own answer?
PS I'm an athiest too.

I believe in God, but I dont believe in organized religious clubs (churches). I respect everybody else's point of view as long as the person respects mine. I met my husband when he went to the office I was working asking for help to file for divorce from his first wife.

I like anime. Every holiday I am the sucker who puts 88 flags down the main street in our town. And I'm a screaming liberal who protests the war every Sunday at noon :)

I'm Catholic. I spend far too much time hanging around in old cemeteries, and am generally fascinated with them. I like the quiet beauty of a cemetery, and am intrigued by the older tombstones.
