For instance, a pupil is given a homework assignment, e.i.use this word in a sentence...Instead of learning the word and it's meaning, instead of actually studying, the pupil can come on here ask how the word is used, in which context and it;s meaning and variations, in less then 2 minutes. And be free to mess about on the Internet the rest of the time. The pupil then chooses an answer, completes their home work and submits it as their own effort.....isn't this like cheating? Where was the "work" in homework, how can the pupil be expected to learn and remember something if they took very little if any effort to complete their assigment.

I work in the TV industry. I feel that television is becoming so fragmented and so watered down that it will enventually be reduced to on demand programs. Television that is always on will be eventually phased out. Anyone agree or disagree?

We have purchased a puppy (8 wk old black male lab X) from a pet rescue site and become quite attached though are yet to pick him up, and he has come down with Parvo. He is apparently doing really well, what are his chances of living into a healthy, robust adulthood? We want to save him only I am a little concerned he might be sickly for his whole life. Will he be contagious for long? Does anyone have advice?

Happened to Ashlee Simpson? I just saw a picture of her on Yahoo. She looks totally different!!! She doesn't even look like the same person. I know this makes no sense, why would my neighbors internet use effect my airport, but it is true. Whenever my neighbor logs on, my airport shuts off. I then have to wait a couple minutes b4 i can get my signal back. Ive had my cable company at my house 20 times and they cant figure it out. They always say, there are 75 networks in my area and mine is only one that has this issue. So if anyone out there has any idea of what may be causing this, or even better how i can fix it, PLEASE let me know. This has been a mystery to me now, for about a year, and its starting to drive me mad! I may have to kill my neighbor or steal their computer, please dont let it come to this. help...please.

I have the program, but all the other DVD's I've tried (DVD-R, DVD-RAM), don't show up and aren't read.

I'm thinking DVD+RW?

BSOD: Copied over /repair/software and now can't login!?
My work computer recently stopped working. When I boot it up, it gives me blue screen with hive message can't find system32\config\system. I went into recovery console but it wanted admin password which I don't have and corporate won't give me. I don't want to send it in and wait to get it back, so I hooked up hdd to a desktop and copied c:\windows\repair\software to c:\windows\system32\config\sof... Put hdd back into laptop and booted up and it boots into windows! However, it doesn't recognize my username/password anymore. What can I do to fix this?

I think that my germophobia caused me to have OCD. I ritualize because of my fear of germs. It's become an everyday thing now, and it's so annoying. I feel like Jack Nicholson in As Good as it Gets. How do I stop ritualizing??

Today kinda opened my eyes to my problems..I had to go to the doctors for a check up and had to do the dreaded urine sample. I NEVER use public bathrooms..even if I'm dying to go. The whole time I was in the public bathroom I felt anxious..my hands started shaking too. Why did that happen to me? I had to wash my hands a few times but it really didn't relieve my anxiety. How can I stop this??

Are there any alternatives to medication and psychologists? I don't really like either.

Thanks in advance for any help I may receive.
