I think it's really funny when people try to dress/act/think different. It's like they're trying too hard. Just be yourself! Whether it is what the world thinks it is conforming (ie hollister, abercrombie). If you feel comfortable in it, and you're being yourself-- just calm down.

Don't get me wrong... I don't not like "out of the oridinary" people, it's just funny to me when they TRY soo hard.

If the government simply pays a private for-profit enterprise to provide a government service doesn't their profit motive dictate the quality and quantity of service rather than the need and rights of the citizens recipients?

When you elect anti-government people like the GOP to run the government what do you expect them to do but dismantle the government?

Okay, I am currently homeschooled. I am going back to public school in the fall. If at the end of the year, the evaluator says I passed.. which I will. Can the public school put me in lower grade? That scares me. I don't wanna be failed. What do you think?

So I am going to start working as an EMT in a couple of weeks. They are very strict on looking proffessional, you know like tucked in shirt, clean shoes, clean shaven. So do you think it is unprofessional to have a messy hairstyle? will they care? I just don't want anyone to get upset at how I look. what do you think?

My car has 300,000 miles on it and ran well until the distributor went out. Had a new one put on but a few days later it began stalling so bad could hardly drive it. The shop checked it out and could not find the problem but said it likely the carburator. Only problem is I put a new carburator on it a year ago. So I put in some BG22 fuel sys cleaner and it began running much better. Now it barely stalls at times when accelerating and the ECS light quit going on all the time when I decel; it just goes on occasionally. Do you think I should run some more fuel sys cleaner through it on my next tank of gas or bring it into a suburu shop? What do you think could be wrong? I am OK driving it with more cleaner as that seems to get it better over time.

If blacks only make up approximately 10% of the population in MN, why are all of the crime stats skewed towards this smaller group?

In the neighborhood that I grew up in (inner-city), the crime has skyrocketed, coinciding with the influx of black residents. Many others, such as hispanic, somali and asian have flooded the area too and most of the problems seem to be caused by african-americans. Why is this?

I attended school with many, many minorities and have friends who are from many different nationalities (including black), so this is not a prejudiced question.

okay..i know that a triangles angles add up to 180, and i need to figure out how much the angles add up to in a quadrilateral and a pentagon. isn't there a trick like multiply the number of angles by 60? but that doesn't work for my problem...any help would be great. thanks!
