People mature at different rates. It doesn't make sense to arbitrarily set an age below which certain activities are prohibited. Furthermore, it is difficult to justify different age limits for different activities; for example, the difference between the drinking age, voting age, driving age, etc. Suppose a 15 year-old can pass the driving test, doesn't that mean all the skills necessary to handle a vehicle safely are present, regardless of age?

My friend gave me a full bottle of Swedish Beauty. It's full. But, it's about a year old. The girl at the salon said it's probably not good anymore. Now, I know they have to sell products. But, could this possibley be true? I'm kinda thinking it's not.

I was formula feeding as well as breast feeding once a day my 5 week old baby. I have taken the breast feeding out coz the milk isnt any good, and his poo has gone from yellow and mustardy to green, horribly stinky and sticky. Is that just from the formula or the age or is it something wrong?

My ex-husband (by court order) has to provide medical coverage for our daughter. Approximately 1 year ago my daughter had some dental work done. Her father's insurance company sent him the checks that were to go for paying the dental bill. Of course the checks were cashed, and the money spent (without the bill getting paid). I was just recently notified of this by a collection agency, as I am getting sued for this outstanding debt (being the responsible party on her medical/dental paperwork). I just got all of the evidence that I need to take him to court, and will be doing so soon. I am going to be asking for an award of punitive damages, as this has been placed on my credit, therefore causing derogitory information to be displayed. The bill is $695.00. How would I calculate an appropriate amount to sue for? Basically I want the punitive damages to pay for going to a "debt specialist" to have this removed from my credit.

Some people say that guns hurt more then help people in homes. Others say that it is for protection and it is in the bill of rights that we have the right to bear arms. my car was leaking antifreeze i was pouring antifreeze in it almost every 3 days and it lost heat the only thing that camr from the vent with the heat on is cold air it would stilldrive so i took it to the place that services my car he got the heat working again but told me i should bring it back so he could check it out and let me know exactly what was wrong what could be wrong and what would be the most it would cost to get it fixed

I'm sure someone here will be able to give specific origins of this belief, but in some religion/beliefs, it is thought that if you sneeze your soul escapes for a brief moment. The phrase "God bless you" was said in order to thwart the enemy from stealing your soul. So in essence, when someone says that, you are implying that their soul has left their body. Not very Christ minded!
Now, I am a Christian before you start hating on me.
Don't just say it's out of courtesy, because don't you think as Christians we should know what we are saying before we say it?
Maybe when Jesus said “Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do.” Maybe He was referring to us Christians as well.

My living room is done in knotty pine, probably circa the mid-60's. I love the pine, but it is old and yellow-y looking and I would like to strip it somehow, but it has what looks like a thick coat of varnish on it. My husband claims it can't be done, but my grandma says that she "bleached" her knotty pine way back when, but doesn't really remember how. I would like to keep it, but it needs to be lighter! Has anyone done this? and if so, how?!!
