Many thin models are just built that way. As long as their bones aren't visible, they probably aren't anorexic. If they look skinny but it looks good on them, they probably diet or are naturally thin.

No, I think most use drugs to stay thin. This is from the mouths of models themselves. In the article I referenced below, it reads ""Models use coke like truck drivers do," said an industry insider yesterday, "to stay awake and keep working." Another said cocaine was used as a "performance-enhancing drug" in the same way athletes use steroids ""
Kate Moss, a model that women were having plastic surgery on their face ( breaking bones and all ) to look like, has been caught on tape several times with her boyfriend, taking drugs and she still has a job.
Sorry, I digress, not all models have an eating disorder.

i personally think that most models do not have "eating disorders". but I'm sure most diet and exercise more than the average person. and yes there is defiantly models that do have eating disorders. just like there is normal people that have eating disorders. i think if Vogue just featured normal or even thin models in their mags. it would make all the difference. and i really wish runway models would just gain 20 lbs. i understand that clothes look better on thin woman, but look at Victoria secrets fashion shows, none of their models look anorexic, but they are healthy looking, and it way more appealing than bones stick out of their backs.

Yes, the way society is now they want a woman to have some meat on there bones. Yeah the clothes look sexy on them but they look hungry and look like they were in the holocaust. It's a shame how this generation depicts themselves off of everything that TV says. Some of the actresses out there are little thin mints. lookin a hot mess

Yes,not all but quite a few i think they are afraid to be kicked out of the buisness so they wanna stay thin, thats sorta what happened to hilary duff she had a fight with a director cuz he told her she was too fat,i think its sorta about pure pressure too,i mean think about,a normal person isnt built like that and of course some are but,i mean most all of the models are like that so they must have an eating disorder.

Some are anorexic and some are naturally thin. I think sometimes people assume incorrectly that all models starve themselves. Since many of them are barely into their teens, it should not come as a surprise that they are so skinny. Most people start out skinny and gain weight with age and childbearing.

Not ALL, but a very high percentage. They're trying to take more behind the scenes pictures of models eating now haha instead of just getting their hair and make up done.

I really don't think that all of them have eating disorders - but I do think that a majority of them do. I was just watching something about that on T.V. the other day and it amazed me to see just how many famous people really do have eating disorders. Its sad...

No, the high fashion models are very young, usually under 16 when they start out. Models come in all shapes and sizes so don't compare yourself to the super skinny girls!
