Sorry if I missed anybody,Im tryd to give a wide selection. I have to give the Edge to Baren Davis, Ive seen him hit big shot after big shot, and he is doing it against the MAVS,with out him, It would probally be 1-3 Against Mavs. And Kidd AVG a Triple Double!!! Also Loul Deng was the differnce in his series.

Wow, there are about 3 guys that really come to mind that have been playing great in the post season. First off would be Steve Nash, always being considered in mvp talk. But really, he's just been the ultimate playmaker since Magic Johson or John Stockton. He had 23 assists in game 4 against the Lakers!! 23 assists, just crazy...and he took himself out of the game in part of the 4th quarter. The main reason why the Suns are who they are and why they are playing so well.

Luol Deng has really stepped his game up offensively in the series against the Heat. I've never seen him shoot like he did this series and really I feel was the main reason why the Bulls played so well. And don't forget, this guy can play defense!

Baron Davis has single-handedly taken down the Mavericks. He has been a real playmaker, scoring at will, driving through the lane, shooting clutch shots, making a half-court shot that made me jump out of my seat. But more importantly he has given this team a boost of confidence/swagger and taken over games, whether it be scoring or dishing out the assists.

Either way, you can't go wrong with any of these guys. But I'll take Baron Davis, the way he's gotten his team beating the Mavericks and if they win could be considered one of the greatest upset in nba history.

Baron Davis and Luol Deng are the two candidates. Just one more win and Davis and his Warriors will pull off a hell of an upset. He's led his team to each of its victories of the Mavericks. Also Luol Deng has led his team against the defending Champions. He's already broke out this season and he stepped it up even more in the playoffs. Developing while leading his team makes him a good candidate for MVP of the playoffs so far.

I am going to say Deng, because he led the sweep of the defending champions.
Davis has been huge, but so has J Rich and he has not been doing it on his own. So, he comes in a very close second.
Jason Kidd next because he is putting up some scary numbers and he is leading the Nets to what looks like victory.
Kobe fourth, I know his team is losing but he is averaging nearly 5 points more than anyone else, along with 5 assists and rebounds. This has to count for something, right?

Barron is playing on a trick knee so bad he cant practice on it...if he engineers this upset of Dallas in the first round, that will be the biggest performance in the playoffs for the last 20 years...Dengs effort in ousting the defending champs was huge, Kidd has come to play again this post season...

You guys are forgetting what MVP stands for, it isn't the best player, it is the most valuable, and sometimes those are two different things. What player makes his team better than they are. Not Kobe, not Yao.

MVP so far would go to Nash, B Davis, or James. Those guys not only are three of the best players in the league (Nash is the greatest of all time, just ask any coach), but they make their team better.

Luol Deng. Did anyone see Wade trying to guard Deng during those first two games. Now that was funny. It's nice to see people other than Bulls fans finally recognizing Deng's talent level.

Baron Davis, it isn't close right now.

2nd would have to be Steve Nash or Amare Stoudamire.

I'm probably biased but I've gotta give it to Deng. He's been the man.
