Ok, I realize some of the scripts were co-written, etc, but I recently was a part of an argument where someone stated that he bought the rights to the Star Wars story and then made the movies claiming all of the credit for himself. This seems absolutely silly to me, considering that in the 30 years that I have been following the Saga I have ever heard of this.

If you can answer definitively one way or the other please cite a reputable web source i can quote to counter this. Thank you!

I'm not an intense user of y!ans but i do enjoy it in my spare time,
the only section i really use is the Philosophy section sometimes i have a quick peek at the maths and physics section,
i know this is not the most appropriate question to ask here but we have all asked much worse,

Maquila is the short form of the word maquiladora, if it helps your answer/search. Theoretically, the essence of both are the same, so differentiating between them is posing a serious problem. Perpendicular Lines
Which of these lines are perpendicular? Explain.

line p:
y=1/5x + 2
line q:
y=5x-1/2
line r:
y=1/2x+3

How would you approach this kind of problem, I understand how to get perpendicular lines, but I don't really know where to begin....

should schools teach students to defend themselves when an
intruder go beserk on campus and start hurting folks. i know
a lot of folks will say that studants don't have guns. i agree but a class where most studants have books they can throw and lap tops that would make a heck of a knot on a head and hundreds of other items they can use to defend them selves with. I dont advocate violence but, is self defense now a thing

when working with maths, I realised if you draw three lines at an angle one sixth of a circle (60 degrees) you have a perfect equalateral triangle. could the triangle be the mark of the beast, there are many others? thought I would mention this so we can watch for this one too! another thing pythagarus lived about 100 years before christ. and had some sort of cult. which not much is known about. and another thing is the free enterprising trade agreements cause all workers both white collar and blue collar to work like slaves like the poorer countries to be able to compete with them, so still being able to trade. pehaps the hand and forhead represents those whom work with there hands ( general labourers) most right handed, and those whom work with there brains( bussiness workers) which we use the frontal region of the brain. this all might be to loose and even completely off balance. what are yor thoughts om these matters?

I do believe Volcanic Activity has a major effect on Global Warming / Global Cooling.

If smoke fills the skies, then it would block the suns radiation.
When the smoke clears, the ice melts.
That would make sense as far as dinosaurs becoming extinct.

I think that if the earth does get too warm, volcanoes will errupt creating a blanket, sheilding the earth from the sun, allowing the earth to cool down. That will be the start of the next Ice Age.

I don't know how much Humans contribute to Global Events.
I am sure we can't be helping, but it does explain Global Cooling and Global Warming.

Ice melts, Water freezes, Poles shift.
