Americans go to Mexico, spend money and go home. Mexicans go north and stay.

Americans do need a passport to re-enter. In short order Americans will need a passport at the Canadian border too, the main argument still on the table is what to charge for this passport considering there are many Americans and Canadians that have duel citizeanship and also work between borders.

Americans need a passport to Mexico if they are going to stay longer than 7 days, a quick trip to TJ to buy a few trinkets, in no way compares to the hoards of Mexicans breaking our laws everyday, and entering our country to work which is illegal. It would not be allowed in Mexico and you know it. We would be put in prison. But if Americans try to protect their country then they are called racists, if Mexicans protect their country then it's fine. They are destroying our small towns in the south and midwest, they bring down wages and put people out of work, because they work for less money.

Because Mexico doesn't require one to enter. Americans need a passport to return to America also.

Americans come to Mexico with money in their pockets. They are not allowed to work there. Mexicans come to the US without money and want to work. I would be happy to stop vacationing in Mexico if Mexicans would stop coming here.

The mexican government doesnot require Americans to have a Visa to get in, but All Americans who leave the U.S are required to have a valid U.S. Passport to reenter the country.

Whether or not Mexico requires one.. I have no idea because I don't really want to go to Mexico.. but even Americans need a passport to re enter the US

Because of our laws and because of your laws, and Americans do need passports.

I am sure that if there were millions of illegal Americans moving to Mexico to leech the system there, that Mexico would require papers to enter. As it stands, that is not the case.
