I'm building my first computer ever and want to buy hardware and software on-line because I feel you get a much better deal on-line than in a local computer store (we only have Circuit City, OfficeMax, and Staples in my area anyway). Besides, most of these stores don't sell the type of hardware I'll need like motherboard, cpu, case, power supply, just for example.
I started thinking I should ask experienced computer people who have bought on-line which company's are the best 3 or 4 companies to buy from.
Can you help me please? I want to buy from a company that treats you right and doesn't make it difficult to return damaged products.
I've heard NewEgg.com is one of the best but I'd like to hear it from you guys.
Are there others that are just as good or better than NewEgg.com. How about Tiger Direct.com and Fry's.com?
Thank you. Your input will be appreciated.
P.S. What motherboard is best for my AMD 64 X2 slot AM2 processor (must have IEEE 1394)?
